In Short
• Samsung is giving Galaxy Watch Ultra for free if you win its latest fitness campaign
• Users will be required to walk a total of 2 lakh steps
• The company is giving 3 watches for free to the winners
Samsung has announced the second edition of its “Walk-a-thon India” fitness challenge with a reward for users. Participants who complete the required number of steps will either get a chance to grab the Galaxy Watch Ultra for free or receive a notable discount on its purchase. Here is everything you need to know.
Samsung has launched a new challenge via the Samsung Health app, running from April 21 to May 20, 2025. Participants are required to complete 200,000 steps within this one-month period to qualify. At the end of the challenge, three individuals will be randomly selected to win a Galaxy Watch Ultra. Additionally, everyone who successfully meets the step goal will receive a 25% discount on the smartwatch.
Samsung Health app:
To join, users must register through the ‘Together’ section of the Samsung Health app. The challenge is exclusively available to users with Samsung Galaxy smartphones that have the app installed.
Simply completing the step count won’t be enough—participants must also return to the app between May 26 and June 15 to officially redeem their reward. Failing to do so will make them ineligible for both the prize and the discount.
This latest edition follows the inaugural Walk-a-thon India campaign held in February, which attracted participation from over one lakh users nationwide. With this campaign, Samsung is not only highlighting its fitness features but also generating excitement around its premium wearable.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra, the centerpiece of this promotion, stands out as one of Samsung’s most advanced smartwatches, designed for those who prioritize comprehensive health monitoring and durable performance. By tying it to a fitness initiative, the brand aims to deepen user engagement with its health-focused ecosystem.
Conclusion:
The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is priced at Rs 51,999 on platforms such as Reliance Digital. It comes in a 47mm size with a durable titanium body and features a vivid 1.5-inch Super AMOLED display. While it uses the same processor and software as the Galaxy Watch 7, it stands out with a rugged build and 10ATM water resistance. The watch is equipped with a 590mAh battery that offers up to 100 hours of usage in power-saving mode. Along with standard health tracking options, it introduces new features like a multi-sports tile for advanced workout tracking and an FTP metric tailored for cyclists. Additional highlights include AI-powered heart rate zones, a Quick Button for easy workout access, Night Mode, and an emergency siren.
